Our Mission ~

        Hooves and Angels, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Non Profit Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation that is dedicated to providing shelter, care, and treatment to abused and abandoned horses, and to rehabilitate each horse to the best of its ability, in order to find forever homes for horses in need. Hooves and Angels, Inc. also provides Equine Assisted Activities and Therapeutic Programs for At-Risk Youth, Seniors, and the Disabled. In addition, HAA. also provides volunteer opportunities for the community, and to provide an environment that creates a sense of moral and social well-being.

Hooves and Angels is dedicated to providing rehabilitation to horses, with the belief that each horse deserves to be its best.

The HAA Family ~

      ~  Founder/Director, Rita Luallen, has been rescuing horses for over 30 years. She has over 40 years of Equine experience, and enjoys sharing her knowledge by educating people about horse care and behavior. She easily builds a trussting relationship with horses.  

           - Frankie Luallen has been around horses all her life and with 0ver 25 years of experience, she has developed  a special place in her heart for horses and animals. Frankie takes pride in helping horses learn that   humans are not bad.

         - Scott Smith has over 25 years of horse and livestock experience and keeps our equipment in working order and ensures that the property is comfortable for the horses. The horses consider Scott to be a member of their herd, with play and love, they have fun.
